Indoor vs Outdoor Balls: What's the difference?
Outdoor Balls (Harder)
Outdoor balls, like the Franklin X-40 or Onix Dura Fast 40, are made of harder plastic with 40 smaller holes. They are designed to cut through the wind and withstand rough acrylic courts. They play faster but can crack in cold weather.
Indoor Balls (Softer)
Indoor balls have 26 larger holes and are made of softer plastic. They are designed for gym floors (wood) and don't skid as much. They are quieter and slower, making for longer rallies.
